South shores have the best surf

Surf along east-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet and it will be 4 to 7 feet on south-facing shores through Monday, according to the National Weather Service in Honolulu.

Surf on west-facing shores will be 3 to 5 feet and north facing shores will be 2 feet or less.

The current south swell will peak late tonight and gradually subside on Monday. A small northwest swell will arrive Wednesday with a second northwest swell expected late Friday, the weather service said.
