UH soccer player earns WAC Defensive Player of Week

University of Hawai'i senior defender Kelly McCloskey was named the Western Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.McCloskey helped the Rainbow Wahine to a 2-1 win over Detroit, scoring the game-winning goal on a free kick in the Ohana Hotels & Resorts Soccer Invitational, to which she was named to the all-tournament team.
She is part of a defense that has allowed six goals (0.51 goals against average) in 11 games.
