Usual bottlenecks greeting morning commuters

Advertiser Staff

Town-bound rush-hour traffic is moving slowly through the Pearl City corridor at this hour and is stacking up in the usual places.

The H-1/H-2 merge is bumper-to-bumper and the flow remains slow until once past the Waimalu on-ramp.

The pace picks up a bit in 'Aiea but slows again at the Middle Street merge and remains heavy until once past the Kinau Street off-ramp.

Traffic headed in from Hawaii Kai begins to slow just past the Koko Head overpass.

There are no problems at this time driving in from Windward O'ahu.
