North Shore surf to hit 10-12 feet today
Advertiser Staff
The first big north-northwest swell of the season should begin arriving on O'ahu's North Shore today, peak this evening and hang around throughtomorrow, according to the National Weather Service.
Current projections call for the surf to build throughout the day, hitting 10 to 12 feet by this evening.
The swells are a by-product of former typhoon Yagi.
Catch a good ride while you can because forecasters expect the surf to die
back down Sunday and Monday.
Elsewhere today look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along eastern shores, 1 to 3 feet along the southern shoreline and 4 to 7 feet along western shores.
