Traffic heavy through Middle Street merge

Advertiser Staff

Traffic is moving a tiny bit better than usual on this Aloha Friday.

The drive slows where it normally does on the H-1 Freeway, including the H-1/H-2 merge put picks up again after the Ka'amilo Street overpass.

Traffic is bumper-to-bumper through the Middle Street merge and remains slow and heavy through Kalihi and Liliha, but lightens up after the Pali Highway and Punchbowl Street exits.

The drive in from Hawaii Kai is going well up to the Koko Head Avenue overpass, where it begins to slow. The congestion continues until once past the Lunalilo Street on-ramp.

There are no problems at this time heading in from the windward side.
