If you pre-ordered "The Island Plate," our 150th anniversary cookbook, you can pick it up today, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Advertiser's Kapolei printing plant, 4545 Kapolei Parkway, Exit 2 westbound off the H-1. Author Wanda Adams will be there to autograph books.

However, there will be NO BOOKS ON SALE because the first printing of 10,000 copies of "The Island Plate" has sold out! A second printing will arrive in Honolulu in late November or early December, in time for holiday giving. Watch the paper for an announcement of the arrival of the new shipment.

If you pre-ordered and can't make it to Kapolei, books can be picked up from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. weekdays at our Honolulu information desk, starting Tuesday.
