5 quakes around Pacific Ocean recorded yesterday

Seven earthquakes, with a magnitude of 5.0 or greater were recorded yesterday by the United States Geographical Service Earthquake Center.Five of the quakes were recorded at various locations around the Pacific Ocean, while two were located in the Indian Ocean. None was reported in Hawai'i.
There were no reports of injuries or damage from the temblors.
One person was killed and 150 were injured when an earthquake with a 6.7 magnitude struck the area west of Honshu, Japan, last Sunday. That earthquake destroyed 58 houses and seriously damaged 455.
