Mexican man held in Big Isle sexual assault

A 22-year-old citizen of Mexico was charged Friday with multiple counts of sexual assault.Omar Angels Salazar is charged with kidnapping, assault, terroristic threatening, felony abuse of a family household member, attempted sexual assault, and sexual assault. He was being held in liueu of $52,500 bail.
The alleged assault occurred March 26 at a vacation property in Keauhou, Kona. A woman told police she was sexually assaulted, threatened, cut with a knife, beaten, choked, and held her against her will.
