Rainbow Wahine beat San Jose State in softball, 9-2

Hawai'i scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning to break a 2-all tie en route to a 9-2 softball victory today over host San Jose State.

The Rainbow Wahine (34-8 and 8-1 in the Western Athletic Conference) took the weekend series 2 games to 1. San Jose State is 16-18 and 1-5.

Kate Robinson and Tyleen Tausaga hit home runs for the Rainbow Wahine. Jessica Morton (8-1) got the victory in relief.
