Man cited in Kaua'i brushfire

A Wainiha man was cited by police for illegal burning in connection with a rubbish fire that eventually burned 50 acres of privately owned land along Wainiha Powerhouse Road before it was brought under control at 2 a.m. today.The man, identified by county officials as Ray "Kuna" Harada Jr., said he was burning rubbish when the fire got out of control at about 6 p.m. yesterday.
