Kaua'i elderly-services plan open for public comment

LIHUE – Kaua'i County is seeking public input on its proposed Four-Year Area Plan on Aging, which will serve as a blueprint for future aging programs and services.
The plan includes an overview of residents 60 years and older, results of a needs assessment, and proposed funding and services for the Agency on Elderly Affairs over the next four years.
Anyone interested in commenting is encouraged to attend public informational meetings:
Wednesday, 10 to 11 a.m. -- Kalaheo Neighborhood Center
Wednesday, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. -– Lihu'e Neighborhood Center
Thursday, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. –- Kapa'a Neighborhood Center
Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Agency on Elderly Affairs, 4444 Rice St., Suite 330, Lihu'e, HI, 96766, by April 10.
The proposed plan is available for review at the Agency on Elderly Affairs, located at the Lihu'e Civic Center, Pi'ikoi Building, Suite 330.
