'Inconvenient Truth' film to be screened at two events

Two faith-related events will include a screening the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" in coming weeks:

  • The Hawai'i Association of International Buddhists and the Chaminade University's gender studies and environmental studies Programs will screen the movie at 7 p.m. April 19 at Ching Conference Center on the second floor in Eiben Hall. The event will also include Buddhist reflections by Barry Sullivan of the Honolulu Diamond Sangha and Poranee Natadecha-Sponsel of HAIB. For addition information, call 735-4822.

  • Sukyo Mahikari Center will screen the Al Gore documentary at 1 p.m. April 21 at the Hawaii Sho Dojo, 1127 California Ave. in Wahiawa. For additional information, call 621-9220.
