NEW YORK — The Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears will meet in the preseason, a Super Bowl rematch highlighting the NFL's exhibition schedule released today.

The Bears-Colts game will be played Monday Aug. 20 in the RCA Dome in Indianapolis and will be televised by ESPN. Indianapolis won the Super Bowl 29-17.

The preseason begins Sunday, Aug. 5 with New Orleans facing Pittsburgh in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. The debut of Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh's third head coach since 1969, will be carried by the NFL Network.

There will be 15 exhibition games nationally televised and all 12 teams that made the playoffs will be on national television. All five networks that televise the NFL — Fox, NBC, CBS, ESPN and the NFL Network — will carry games.
