'Samoan Wedding' star at UH today

New Zealand comic writer and actor Oscar Kightley, who starred in the sleeper success "Samoan Wedding," will lead a master class today on screewriting and activing for the Academy for Creative Media at the University of Hawai'i.

Kightley's appearance is part of the ACM's Master Class series. He'll be appearing from 10 a.m. to noona the UH-Manoa Shidler College of Business, Room C-102.

He is the 2007 Visiting Artist at the UH Center for Pacific Islands Studies. The ACM Master Classes series is supported by the Jay Shidler Family Foundation.

Kightely will also hold a Q&A on Tuesday night following a 7 p.m. screening of "Samoan Wedding" at the UH-Manoa Architecture Auditorium.
