Buddhist, Shinshu forum focus: 'death with dignity'

The Honpa Hongwanji Mission is holding its second in a series of forums on social issues from a Buddhist and Jodo Shinshu perspective, focusing on "death with dignity."Presenters include former Bishop Yoshiaki Fujitani, University of Hawai'i philosophy professor Ken Kipnis, Church of the Crossroads pastor Rev. Neal MacPherson, Kelly Rosati of the Hawaii Family Forum and Jory Watland, ACLU past president.
The event takes place 7 p.m. April 26 at the Buddhist Study Center, 1436 University Ave.
