Maui Brewing Co. produces canned beer at new plant

(Lahaina, Kahana, Maui) – Maui Brewing Co. announces that construction on the first phase of their second location in the West Maui Center at 910 Honoapiilani Highway, Suite #55, Lahainatown, Maui has been completed and the 20-barrel STI Brewhouse and Cask Brewing Systems automatic canning line have been installed. Last week the first run of canned Maui Brewing Co. microbrews came off the line – Big Swell IPA was the first MBC product to be put into cans followed by CoCoNut Porter (a 2006 World Beer Cup Gold Medal winner) and Bikini Blonde Lager.

Maui Brewing Co. is directly distributing their canned products on-island and currently there are many locations where you can find them: Hyatt at Ka'anapali (Ka'anapali), Ka'anapali Beach Hotel (Ka'anapali), Stella Blue's (Kihei), Kalamart (Kihei), Mr. Wine (Lahaina), Wailea Wine (Wailea), Wine Corner (Paia), Charley's (Paia), David Paul's (Lahaina), Flatbread (Paia), Seascape Ma'alaea at the Maui Ocean Center (Ma'alaea), Plantation House (Kapalua), Pineapple Grill (Kapalua), Lahaina Fish Co. There are plans to continue the expansion project with a second phase at this new location. Planned are, a tasting room and gift shop where MBC beers, logo wear and other quality, Made in Maui products will be featured.
