Tough issues on meeting agenda

Advertiser Staff

Residents are gearing up for what could be a lengthy and contentious Wai'anae Coast Neighborhood Board meeting tomorrow at the Neighborhood Community Center, which begins at 7 p.m.

Environet Inc. is expected to give a status report on the ongoing Wai'anae Coast Baseline Environmental Study, and Townscape Inc. will announce an update on the Wai'anae Sustainable Communities Plan.

Community concerns could include building height restrictions, the removal of dumped munitions in coastal waters, and the inability of the area's limited infrastructure to accommodate proposed development plans.
