Body recovered in waters off Kahuku

Firefighters from the Kahuku fire station were assisting police in the recovery of a body of a man discovered in waters off Malaekahana State Park at about 5:30 p.m.About a dozen police officers and 30 volunteers had been concentrating their search in the area of the park today for a missing 71-year-old man after receiving a tip that Tevita "David" Mohetau, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease, had been spotted near "Pounders" beach at 5 p.m. Sunday.
