Walkers — church members, clergy and others — will start in Thomas Square and finish at Central Union on Beretania Street.

Also, the annual Good Friday Ecumenical Service will be held in the Parish Hall at noon. There will be a multi-media presentation of the Seven Last Words on the Cross and will feature meditations by pastors of different churches and denominations plus vocal and instrumental soloists and a gospel hula halau.

A special showing of "The Passion of the Christ" will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Additionally, this year there will be a Good Friday evening worship service with prayers and scriptures and the symbolic "stripping of the church" of all ornamentation for three days of tomb-like darkness. That will take place at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.
