UH-Hilo fourth in PacWest golf

The University of Hawai'i-Hilo men's golf team finished fourth Tuesday in the seven-team Pacific West Conference Golf Tournament at the Palm Valley Golf Course in Goodyear, Ariz.

Grand Canyon won with a three-round total of 868. Notre Dame de Namur (875) was second, followed by Dixie State (880), Hilo (909), Brigham Young-Hawai'i (937), Hawai'i Pacific (961) and Chaminade (1049).

Notre Dame de Namur's Kory Storer won medalist honors with 68—207.

Hilo's Logan Goulding shot 68—216 to finish fifth and earn all-Pacific West Conference honors.

Spencer Adkins led BYU-Hawai'i (78—227, 14th), Chris Hohol led HPU (83—237, tie for 21st) and Kyle Neuman led Chaminade (74—248, 27th).
