Surveillance camera catches co-worker taking camera

A 19-year-old Mo'ili'ili man was arrested yesterday for allegedly stealing a digital camera from a co-worker at a Kaimuki business.

The camera owner, also 19, told police he took the camera to work with him on Monday and that it had been apparently stolen between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The man told police he checked a video surveillance camera at his work place that showed the co-worker taking the camera. He said he confronted the co-worker, who told him he took the camera and gave it away to someone else.
