East-West Fest to celebrate 'Unity Through Diversity'

Students representing 52 countries will host the annual East-West Fest next weekend at the center's Hawaii Imin International Conference Center in Jefferson Hall.

Called "Unity Through Diversity," the event will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m April 14.

It will feature Asian and Pacific cultural performances, interactive exhibitions, games and food. Taiko master Kenny Endo will be performing at the event.

Some of the cultures represented include Mongolia, Tahiti, Vietnam, Korea, Okinawa, Chuuk and Tibet.

Admission is free. Parking is available on the campus of the University of Hawai'i-Manoa for $3.
