Missing-person search under way at Malaekahana park

A Fire Department rescue team and helicopter crew are conducting a search for a missing person in an area off Malaekahana State Park in La'ie.Two visitors from California yesterday afternoon told police that they had spotted what appeared to be the body of a man floating beneath the surface.
Police and Fire Department helicopters searched the waters into the evening hours and resumed the search this morning.
