Financial literacy fair at Tamarind Park

A free financial literacy fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Tamarind Park.

The fair is part of Financial Literacy Month and is being hosted by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. It ss designed to provide educational information, services and programs for the public.

In addition to the Commissioner of Securities' Investor Education program, volunteer exhibitors include other DCCA educational programs, State Unclaimed Property, State Office of Aging's Sage PLUS and Sage WATCH Programs, University of Hawaii at Manoa Cooperative Extension Office, Honolulu Police Department, Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Hawaii, Hawaii Community Lending, Hawaii Home Ownership Center, Social Security Administration, United States Post Office, Hawaii Council on Economic Education, AARP-Hawaii and Junior Achievement.
