Moore named DOE assistant superintendent

Randy Moore

The Board of Education today made Randy Moore the permanent assistant superintendent for the Office of Business Services.

Moore had held the interim position since January.

Moore, a former business executive, left his job as president of Kaneohe Ranch in 2001 to become a math teacher at Central Middle School. He joined the Department of Education's state office in 2004 to help implement Act 51, the Reinventing Education Act.
