Major League Baseball released its team-by-team baseball salaries on Monday. The three players with Hawai'i ties have a combined salary of $1,322,500, a bargain by today's baseball standards.

Maui's Shane Victorino is in his third season with the Philadelphia Phillies and is slated to make $410,000 after hitting .287 with six home runs and 46 RBI last season.

He's hitting .222 with one RBI less than one week into this season.

Waipahu's Jerome Williams is the No. 4 starter for the Washington Nationals and will make $500,000 this season. He has a 4.03 earned-run average for his career.

Braves relief pitcher Tyler Yates, Kaua'i, is slated to make $412,000 in 2007. He hasn't made an appearance yet this season, but was 2-5 last year with a 3.96 earn run average and one save.
