Hawaiian civic club aims to attract young members

The Ko'olaupoko Hawaiian Civic Club is hosting a social gathering this month that aims to attract young people who are interested in staying connected to island culture.The get-together is set for 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. April 20 at the Atrium Building, 46-005 Kawa St., Suite 209, Kane'ohe. The club, which is targeting high school students to individuals in their 40s and their families, is involved with various social, recreational, cultural and educational activities in the Kane'ohe area.
