Several swells heading for the Islands

Northern shores will see surf 8 to 12 feet today and western shores will see surf 6 to 8 feet, the National Weather Service said. The rising surf comes from the first of several northwest swells expected over the next few days that could reach advisory levels by tonight or tomorrow.Elsewhere, surf along east facing shores will decrease to 2 to 4 feet today and southern shores will see surf 2 to 4 feet.
Surf will decrease Saturday, the National Weather Service sadi, but a larger northwest swell is expected Sunday.
