Jared Leto band 30 Seconds to Mars to play May 13

Jared Leto and his post-grunge rock band 30 Seconds To Mars are coming to town for a Pipeline Cafe show on May 13.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at 877-750-4400. Tickets are $35.

The concert will be an all-ages event, but ages 18 and under will be required to attend with an adult.

The band has released two CDs in its five years together — 2002's "30 Seconds To Mars" and 2005's "A Beautiful Lie." Its hits include last year's "From Yesterday" and "The Kill (Bury Me)," which hit number one and number three, respectively, on Billboard's modern rock tracks chart.

Leto is perhaps best known for his work as an actor. His acting resume includes a year as moody heartthrob Jordan Catalano on the 1994-95 ABC series "My So-Called Life" and roles in "Panic Room," "Requiem For A Dream" and "Fight Club."
