The two told police they were sitting in front of a store when a man pulled a handgun and demanded their money.

The two men said they complied with the demand and then called police.

Police said the suspect ran away but was followed by a security guard. Arriving officers found the suspect nearby and arrested him on suspicion of first-degree robbery.

Teen arrested in fight with teacher

A 16-year-old boy was arrested about 8:25 yesterday morning at Castle High School after he allegedly punched a teacher who was searching the boy's school bag.

The teacher told police the boy became angry and threw the punch after a green, leafy substance resembling marijuana was found in the bag.

Police officers who were sent to the school said there were no visible injuries to the teacher, although he was complaining of pain.

Police then arrested the boy on suspicion of second-degree assault.
