2 O'ahu-based generals transferred to Mainland

The Pentagon today announced the transfer of two generals based on O'ahu.Brig. Gen. Kenneth S. Dowd, director of logistics, engineering and security assistance at Pacific Command, Camp Smith, will become director for Logistics at Central Command, based at MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., the Army chief of staff announced.
Brig. Gen. Francis M. Bruno, director of logistics for Pacific Air Forces, based at Hickam Air Force Base, will become director of logistics and sustainment for Air Force Materiel Command, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, the Air Force chief of staff announced.
