Kaua'i's Watabu shoots 78, tied for 93rd at Masters

Kaua'i's Casey Watabu birdied three of the final six holes and finished with a 6-over-par 78 today in the second round of The Masters in August, Ga.Watabu, an amateur who qualified for the event by winning the U.S. Public Links Championship, finished his two rounds at 165, 21-over par.
He finished tied for next-to-last with Camilo Villegas and Dave Womack in 93rd place while beating out Seve Ballesteros.
Watabu finished the day with three birdies, seven bogeys, and a double bogey. Although he went on a birdie binge in the final six holes, Watabu still was 1-over over that stretch, with two bogeys and a double bogey. He played the last eight holes at 3-over.
