Downtown merchants celebrate First Friday

Advertiser Staff

Most downtown businesses and art galleries will take part in tonight's traditional First Friday party, Chinatown's monthly celebration of the arts.

The Hawai'i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts will be closed in Observance of Good Friday, but there's still plenty to see and do.

Island Keepsakes on Nu'uanu, for example, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a 25-percent off sale tonight through April 30.

Music, exhibits and shopping are all part of the family event.
