LAHAINA
Help for bike project sought

Advertiser Staff

Lahaina Bypass Now is seeking volunteers for its Walking and Biking Project management team, which is working to create pedestrian- and bike-friendly roads in West Maui that will help reduce vehicle traffic.

The group's long-term goal is to create an interconnecting path system from Kapalua to Olowalu. Volunteers are needed to secure funding, maintain the paths, develop and install signs, design and distribute maps, and lobby local and state government.
