Egg-stra! Egg-stra! Egg hunts galore for Easter

Tomorrow may be Easter, but you can get a head start at a slew of egg hunts and other celebrations happening today around the Island.

  • Breakfast with the Easter Bunny includes an egg hunt, face-painting, photos and more. From 8 to 10:30 a.m. at Dave and Buster's. Cost: $14. 589-2215.

  • The "Free-Range" Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu, begins with participants lining up at 8:30 a.m., followed by the egg hunt at 9 a.m. at the Ko'olau Golf Course. It's free. 532-1111.

  • An Easter Eggstravaganza at Koko Head District Park features an egg hunt, games and more activities. 9 a.m.; free. 395-5314, 395-3407.

  • Spring Fling, a benefit for the Hawaii Foodbank, includes visits with the Easter Bunny, a keiki candyland, arts and crafts, face-painting and a petting zoo. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Salt Lake Shopping Center. Admission: $1 donation or two canned goods.

  • At the Easter celebration at Market City Shopping Center, there are photos and visits with the Easter Bunny, balloons and eggs. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free. 734-0282.

  • Easter keiki activities and Easter Bunny Treat Trail are happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ward Warehouse. It's free. 638-7036. And don't forget the accompanying 27th annual Anthurium Plant Show and Sale, featuring workshops, floral arrangements and more.
