Ready to rock?

Colorado-based death metal band Skinned, whose recent CD is "Spawn of Insanity," starts an Island tour tonight at Anna Bannana's, where the ceiling is low and the pounding in your ears is just the pre-Easter treat for true metalheads.

Veteran Isle metal band 8mm Overdose shares the tour bill. Other bands ready to rip are Valhalla, Deadly Influence, Mad Spirit, Magnum Carnage and Democratic Fistfights. From 6 p.m. today for all ages; after 10 p.m., it's for those 18 and older. $7. 946-5190.
