See what it's like to pay to pee in 'Urinetown'

Advertiser Staff

"Urinetown, the Musical," presented by The Aloha Performing Arts Company, continues at Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu, Kona, on the Big Island.

The dark comedy tells of a future in which ecological disasters have created a water crisis, thus limiting access to toilets. The musical made its O'ahu debut at Manoa Valley Theatre last year.

"Urinetown" takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. today and 2:30 p.m. tomorrow; it repeats at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays-Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays through April 29. Tickets are $18 general, $15 students and seniors, $30 premium, $45 for dinner and the show. (808) 322-2122, (808) 322-9924, www.apachawaii.org.
