Warriors break into Top 10 of volleyball poll

Advertiser Staff

The University of Hawai'i has ascended to No. 10 in this week's CSTV/AVCA Division I-II Men's Top 15 Coaches Poll.

"That doesn't mean anything," Wilton said of the Warriors' first top-10 appearance in a month. "All that matters is the league. That's what matters."

An eight-game winning streak improved the Warriors to 11-13 overall and 9-11 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

With two regular-season matches remaining, the Warriors are tied for seventh in the MPSF. The top eight teams qualify for the MPSF playoffs.
