Day of Prayer events set for May 3

The Hawai'i National Day of Prayer Team will be holding two events as part of the National Day of Prayer.This year's prayer day theme is "America, Unite in Prayer," based on the verse from II Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
The events will be:
i Noon May 3 at the Kapolei District Park across from the Kapolei Library.
i 6:30 p.m. May 3 at the state Capitol.
