Advertiser Staff

Two men working with Island Movers this morning were transported to The Queen's Medical Center this morning for treatment of throat and eye irritation after being exposed to cement cleaner fumes.

Firefighters responded to the report of a hazardous materials incident involving the glycolic acid at Libby and Auiki streets, near Pier 42 in the Kapalama Basin area, shortly after 7 a.m. Honolulu Emergency Services officials transported the men, ages 40 and 56, to the medical center in stable condition.
