Foster parent video earns top honors

A 10-minute video, created for the Child and Family Services, won first place in the Western Regional National Student Television Awards' public affairs-community services category. The honor is akin to a student Emmy Award.
HSTV's 30-secton "Therapeutic Foster Parent PSA," also for Child and Family Services, also was tapped by NSTV Regional for consideration in the National NSTV Awards. Yet anoather 10-minute video, on Hulihei Palace, created for the Daughters of Hawaii, earned an honorable mention nod.
The Hawaii winners will be acknowledged in an NSTV event this fall in New York.
