Inactive nurses offered updates

Advertiser Staff

Maui Memorial Medical Center is offering a program for inactive nurses who want to return to their profession.

The program, to be held in mid-April with dates to be announced, will familiarize nurses with the newest equipment and therapies. Participants are required to have a current Hawai'i registered-nurse license.

"We have found that there are nurses who would like to return to their profession, but may feel that their skills aren't current enough, as they have not been practicing for several years," said Maui Memorial Nursing Director Stacey Arakawa.
