Trade winds blowing back into weather forecast

The recent run of sunny weather may be coming to an end.
A ridge of high pressure will remain north of the state thereby bringing trade wind weather back to the Islands, according to the National Weather Service.
Trades will fluctuate through the week as storms pass by to the north, forecasters said.
By Thursday, winds are expected to be very light, bringing about some afternoon convection.
Rainfall totals are expected to be light and the rains confined mainly to windward and mountain areas.

Today, mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs, 77 degrees to 83 degrees. East winds, 10 mph to 20 mph. Chance of rain: 20 percent.
Tonight, mostly clear with a 20 percent chance of showers. Lows, 64 degrees to 69 degrees. Northeast winds, 10 mph to 15 mph.
Tomorrow Mostly sunny, with isolated showers in the afternoon. Highs, 78 degrees to 84 degrees. East winds, 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain: 20 percent.
Tomorrow night Mostly clear. Lows, 64 degrees to 69 degrees. Light winds.
