Water main break closes part of Kapi'olani Boulevard

The two far right lanes of Kapi'olani Boulevard in the kokohead-bound direction between Ward Avenue and Kamake'e Street are closed for repairs after a 12-inch water main broke at 4:35 a.m. today, according to a news release from the Board of Water Supply.The Public Storage Building on Kapi'olani Boulevard reported a loss of water service.
Repairs to the water main, built in 1935, are expected to "last well into the evening," according to the news release.
