Retirement at Morgan Stanley promotes Punahou grad

Paul Loo has retired as executive director and manager of Morgan Stanley's Hawai'i offices after 46 years with the firm, the company announced today.

Loo, 75, has been replaced by Gwen Pacarro, a senior consultant and senior vice president at Morgan Stanley. Pacarro joined Morgan Stanley in 1983 and is the first woman to lead the firm in Hawai'i.

Pacarro is a graduate of Punahou School and has degrees from Lewis and Clark College in Oregon, as well as from Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania and the American College of Bryn Mawr.
