Rainbow Wahine rise to No. 15 in national softball poll

The University of Hawai'i women's softball team rose three spots to No. 15 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25, released today.

The Rainbow Wahine (40-8, 11-1 in the Western Athletic Conference) have won seven in a row, including sweeps against New Mexico State and Santa Clara last week. They are scheduled to play a scrimmage against Chaminade on April 17 and continue their WAC schedule against Fresno State, starting April 20 at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. Fresno State is ranked No. 24.

Tennessee is No. 1, followed by Alabama, Oklahoma, Arizona and Texas A&M.
