Hawaii Pacific splits with Biola in softball

Nicole Kalakau singled to right field with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning as Hawaii Pacific rallied to beat Biola, 3-2, Wednesday in the second game of a non-conference doubleheader at Sea Warrior Field.

Krystal Plunkett homered and Kalakau scored on a wild pitch in the sixth inning for the Sea Warriors (25-9), who trailed 2-0 after three innings.

In the first game, Katie Gustaveson pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and no walks as the Eagles (27-9) won, 1-0.

HPU's Sherise Musquiz allowed four hits, including an RBI triple by Amerra Kesterson in the fifth.
