UH-Hilo's Geis Pac West Freshman of the Year in soccer

Hawaii-Hilo men's soccer forward Drew Geis has been named the Pacific West Conference's Freshman of the Year.Geis, a 2006 Kapolei High graduate, had seven goals and two assists.
Brigham Young-Hawaii midfielder Kamuela Kamoe and Hawaii Pacific forward Christian Clemente joined Geis on the all-conference first team.
Making the second team were: BYUH's Lance Ford and Michael Akinaka; HPU's Christian Nilsson and Michael King; Chaminade's Chad Nishikuni, and Hilo's Ryan Neill.
Earning honorable mention were: Hilo's Marc Fournier and BYUH's Kyle Young.
