Farrington project continues in Waipahu

Lanes will be closed in both directions on Farrington Highway, from Old Fort Weaver Road to Kamehameha Highway, through Friday for pavement-marking work at these times and locations:

  • Westbound: 7:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

  • Eastbound: 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m.

  • Right lane closure near the Leo'ole Street/Leoku Street intersection for pavement restoration near new bus pullout.

    Elsewhere around O'ahu:

    Traffic work at various locations

    Single lanes will be closed through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Left lanes in both directions on Pali Highway from the H-1 Freeway to Vineyard Boulevard for tree relocation work.

  • Left lanes in both directions on Pali Highway near Kuakini Street for tree relocation work.

  • Single lanes in both directions on Nimitz Highway near Pacific Street for toning and trenching for traffic signal system improvements.

  • Left lanes in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard from Ward Avenue to Pi'ikoi Street for tree relocation work.

    H-3 lanes to close for drainage work

    Lanes will be closed on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Likelike Interchange and H-3 Tunnels from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today for inspection and cleaning of drainage systems.

    Likelike Highway lanes to be closed

    Lanes will be closed Honolulu-bound on Likelike Highway between Kamehameha Highway and Kahekili Highway from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Friday for pavement resurfacing work.

    Nightly ramp closures are also scheduled at the following locations and times:

  • Kahekili Highway motorists wishing to access Likelike Highway (Kane'ohe-bound) are advised to use Kea'ahala Road and Kamehameha Highway.

  • Ramp TK, connecting the Kane'ohe-bound lanes of the Likelike Highway to the Kahekili Highway/Likelike Highway intersection, will be closed on Monday and Tuesday nights from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

    Likelike Highway motorists wishing to access Kahekili Highway (Kane'ohe-bound) are advised to use Kamehameha Highway and Kea'ahala Road.

  • Ramp D, from the Likelike Highway to the Honolulu-bound lanes of H-3 Freeway, will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

    Likelike Highway motorists wishing to access the H-3 Freeway (Honolulu-bound) are advised to use the H-3 on-ramp from Kamehameha Highway.

    Kamehameha lanes to be closed near Pearl Harbor

    The right lane will be closed on Kamehameha Highway (out-bound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for bikeway and sidewalk construction.

    Pu'uloa Road project continues

    Lanes will be closed on Pu'uloa Road between Kamehameha Highway and Salt Lake Boulevard through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Single lanes northbound near Kilihau Street for the installation of highway lighting ducts.

  • Shoulder lanes in both directions will be closed.

    Work continues near Crouching Lion

    Lanes may be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn in both directions through Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. for guardrail maintenance. Traffic will be contra-flowed in the remaining open lane.

    Lanes closed along H-3

    Single lanes will be closed on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Halekou Interchange and Marine Corps Base Hawai'i from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for pavement striping.

    Pipeline work on Nimitz Highway

    Lanes will be closed on Nimitz Highway in both directions between Kukahi Street and Awa Streets between 8:30 p.m. and 3 a.m. through Friday.

    This project will identify inactive petroleum pipelines along Nimitz Highway between Nu'uanu Stream and Kapalama Canal, and drain any oil that may still be in them.

    Nimitz-Ala Moana resurfacing

    Lanes will be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Fort Street to Punchbowl from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, for pavement saw-cutting and trenching for the installation of street lighting and traffic signal conduits.
