City Council today honors fallen soldier from 'Aiea

The Honolulu City Council will this morning recognize the family of Army Staff Sgt. Nimo "Wesley" W. Masaniani Tauala, of 'Aiea, who died last month In Muqdadiyah, Iraq.The 29-year-old Schofield Barracks soldier was assigned to the 209th Aviation Support Battalion, Combat Aviation Brigade, 25th Infantry Division. He joined the Army in January 2000 and was assigned to Schofield Barracks in February 2004.
Tauala died March 17 from noncombat-related causes, according to a Department of Defense news release.
